Parents Have Super Powers!
akcielo ♦ December 15, 2011 ♦ 6 Comments
As parents, you have the power to speak life or death to and over your children. Your words are seeds of life or destruction in their lives. You choose the words you speak, and when you chose to speak or pray God’s words over your children, you are choosing to speak life over them. (Proverbs 18:21)
There is life in his Jesus’ words! When you choose to speak what he spoke you are agreeing and partnering with Him and His words. (John 6:63)
Declaring His words over your children with confidence is like money in the bank. You can count on it! Do not doubt! (Isaiah 55:10-11, James 1:6-8)
Prayers based on Proverbs
*Proverbs 22:6 -> Lord help us Train (_____) in the way she/he should go, that they may never depart from you and your ways.
*Proverbs 2:6 -> Father, give (_____) wisdom to draw knowledge and understanding from you.
*Proverbs 13:1 -> Father I pray wisdom over (_____) that she/he would have an ear to listen to instruction and take heed to your word.
*Proverbs 3:3-> Let love and faithfulness never leave my children (_____), but bind these twin virtues around their necks and write them on the tablet of their hearts.
*Proverbs 3:4-> Father I pray (_____) may find favor before you and men. May they represent you well always!
*Proverbs 18:10 ->God your name is a place of protection – as a family we come to you and we know that we are safe.
*Proverbs 3:25-26 ->Because of your faithfulness my family is not afraid of sudden terror or trouble from the wicked. You are our confidence, and you will keep our foot from being caught.

Use Your Powers!
You have the Bible in its entirety, not just one book, to guide and keep you encouraged to bless your children with life. The verses shown above are just a few from the book of Proverbs that you can pray. No special formula is needed to pray over your children. As you read and discover treasures in God’s word, mark them, and pray them over you and your family in faith. Use your own words, but do pray His truths. Pray believing and expecting the blessing of God to breathe life over you and your children and it will! —–
